Chiller Theatre Convention 1999
(A lot of pictures here...Please be patient while they load)

You can always count on Chiller to have a good time. Especially on Halloween! From celebrities to collectibles to one big shindig of a party. Everyone who's ever attended it knows what it's like.
Doc, my brother
Greg, & I have been attending this festival since 1996, and have yet been
disappointed. Sure we spent most of our money, sure we rubbed elbows with some celebs, but
man, those parties.
Each year we're constantly amazed at how wacky some of these people who attend the convention are.
Each year we see over & over again certain visitors that we just shake our heads wondering, huh?
Oh, it's not the fans that dress up that I'm talking about - they're all cool. Which is another thing about Chiller, everybody's so cool & friendly.
No, I'm talking about this guy...

Does anybody know who this guy is? Every year he's been seen wandering around in either a trench coat or yellow shirt carrying a metal suitcase. He's everywhere!
Is he some secret spy from some unknown organization?
Does he have some kind of secret missile launch codes hidden in his metal case that he keeps with him at all times?
Every year he's there...Just wondering around...watching.
Odd.

The usual celebs also show up at Chiller every year, along with some new ones.

Tom Savini, Ken Foree, Mark Goddard, June (don't take my picture) Lockheart, etc..

Actually a little lack luster if you asked me.
This year the convention was held in a different hotel as it usually is. A bit more cramped & cozy. Also, the main party was held outside in a big plastic tent. Very fest like.

It was alright, but with the bands playing in there it was just so loud....and hot! No circulation in that plastic prison!
Their also weren't too many people dressed up as at the previous shows. But there were a few...

But as fun as everything was, the real entertainment seemed to be in another part of the building. The place where the guests just wanted to sit & mingle. This is where some real wild things took place..
