Gang life can be hard...especially if your hiding a secret
''Broken Warning' was my second film collaboration with Tadeo Garcia. Based on a story of his with some input by yours truly we set out to film this little short in the frigid fall temperatures of 2000.
Staring Maximino Arciniega & Eddie Pina as Isaac & Angel, two gang members with some secrets to hide, this touching story would turn out to be the backbone of a larger film of ours the following year.
Surprisingly to us the completed short film started winning awards!
After some talk with some Hollywood people at one of the award ceremonies Tadeo attended, we decided to expand the story into a longer 'short' film called 'On The Downlow'. You can read all about that film journey at our Iconoclast film site here.
